Day 115

Today, let's look for a

tower Edited at 3.30pm ... Dear Anne, thank you so much for your lovely comment. Your words brought a tear to my eye, and spurred me on to take a photo! So here is my tower .... this is one side of the tower of books on my bedside table waiting to be read ... there is a jam packed bookcase too, plus a kindle with over 120 books on it .... :-O

  1. Suzie, when do we start seeing your photos again? Or did you take so many in Florida that you can't stand even the view of a camera anymore, lol? xx

    2. It doesn't matter that you are behind Suzie. Start today as Day 1 and just go for it.
This project has done so much good to us all, given us so much hope and positive experiences, we have discovered so many nice people around us in this group: 115 days on there are still 15 members hanging around and posting their photos regularly and impatiently expecting to find the word every morning.
We have open ourselves to ourselves and also to others. We have shared nice and dramatic and sad and exceptional moments and it is all because of YOU.
You have motivated us to keep on going for so long, so may be today we need to motivate you too. You are our muse so get your camera out, take a photo and come on back with us.
      We miss you xxx

  2. I totally agree with Anne- this has been a wonderful project to take part in. I'm struggling a bit- having had 2 cameras break on me this year. I have a dslr- but we don't get on too well and I won't take it everywhere. But I still eagerly await the prompt arriving every morning and then seeing the take that everyone has on the same word.

I love your tower. I should have thought of that one. We have several teetering towers of books, and I had a HUGE tower of World Book Nights to pass on . I have several of your books amongst my collections too!

  5. Suzie, It is lovely to see your photo. I, too have towers of books as I love reading and crafty books. I get most of my books from the library and I can take 20 out at a time if I wanted to.
I totally agree with what Anne said. We are all using our eyes more to look at things and our brains to think of something new. As well as that we are making friends. Lynne and I are meeting next week and am looking forward to meeting others (hopefully including you) during the year.

  6. Another one here that eagerly awaits the prompt and Evie often asks what the word is and then suggests photos for me. A great idea for the book tower! Look forward to seeing more of your pictures. Thank you for doing this project for us all.

  7. Yet another one enjoying this great challenge. Not only is it keeping eyes open and brains going but it really is helping me appreciate the world around me, in my home and further afield. Thank you for all your work. Like Viv I would love to meet up with anyone if they are in the Chiltern area.

  8. I'm still an appreciative participant too! Thanks Suzie! I may favour the weekly collage format & indeed have been in catch-up mode since my surgery in March but I do still check in daily, after breakfast, to find out what the days word is! If I had attempted a photo a day without your daily word prompts I would definitely have fallen by the wayside by now!! I'm looking forward to seeing all my collages in a photo book early in 2013!! A get together would be good if geographically viable....I'm in 'Darkest' Bedfordshire!! :D

  9. Yay.. youve clambered back onto the wagon (me scoots over a bit) :) i know im not posting many of my photos online at the moment, but all of us wait for the word of the day (and its usually how ds2 greets me in the morning "whats the word today?"
I am not behind on my photos, i did take them every day, but some of the words have catapulted me into an emotional journey i didnt expect, so i went away to lick the wounds and sulk for a bit.. besides, by the time we get to next year, im sure we wont remember what day which photo was taken on :) so why dont you grab your list of missing words and take off for a little while to catch up?? (just make sure you take the date out of the camera or forgetting will be harder :D ) Thanks for posting the words each day and ill try harder to post more pics

  10. Well done Anne for the timely support for the boss. Boss good to have a pic. I definitely wouldn't have kept going if it wasn't for the group. I would have tailed off in early march. Even if i don't love my photo or it fits only tenuously I am always so glad that I have done it. It doesn't matter a bit that there are some missing days does it. (((hugs)))

  13. I'm still photographing too so please don't count me as someone who dropped out! I'm doing a weekly collage instead of a daily upload purely due to time constraints. But I look forward to checking to see what word it is for the day. Even my husband asks, 'so what are you looking for today?' in the mornings!
