Day 48

Tricky one today, lovely challengers!

abstract

Oh, can I just say ... a big ugh to the new blogger captcha thing! Now I have to decipher TWO 'words' every time I leave a comment anywhere, and they are much harder than the old style 'words'! Why do they have to change things!!! *moan over* *for now* ;)

ETA: I've now taken off the word verification thingy for comments on here .... fingers crossed we don't get too many spammers!

My photo is a bit of a cheat :D

  1. I'm terrible at deciphering the two tone words!

  2. Oh thank goodness, thought it was only me who has trouble deciphering. Suzie, what a word for me to start this project on.............help!!

  3. I've never bothered with the captcha doodaa on my blogs, and haven't suffered any spam; I think Blogger has a better spam-guard than it used to. As for today's word....I'll have to think about it over a cup of tea and a biscuit.

  4. Suzie, I have same trouble, esp when my tablet won't bring up the keyboard to enter the words! I don't have the wordy verification thing and never had issue with spammers myself.. maybe not interesting enough x

  5. I took word verification off my blog about a year ago and (touch wood) haven't had any unwanted comments. Pleased it's not just me that has problems with some of the combinations!
Now off to find something abstract - sounds like a bit of a challenging one to me!

  6. I took it off on mine a week ago too. This stuff is such a pain and a double pain for foreigners. Most of the time I have to do it twice (on each blog I comment on, boohoo) as I don't guess right the 1st time. It would be good if we all could remove it. If spam should come, we still could see what to do next? xx

  7. Yep, the captcha thing is horrible. I put it on my blog because of all the spam, but I'm going to take it away again and see what happens.

    Mmm.. tricky one today!

  10. I hate the new verification thingie - I just can't read the letters - I have to guess at them and I'm quite often wrong! Had to smile at your 'cheat' for today, Suzie - I had thought of doing that before I remembered I had a couple of skirts that might provide the answer for today x

    1. Nice to know I'm not the only one who is guessing wrong Hazel. I though it was because English is not my mother tongue, but it looks like everybody struggles. There is still hope for me then, Yeepee !

  11. Oh Suzie, thanks for posting that, I was thinking last night as I went through them all that life was too short :) I'm pretty sure I set mine up without word verification as I am not a fan, but i'll post with my prompt today to ask someone to check.

    Love the photo :)
